He met the blues definitively at the age of seventeen, listening to the album Texas Sensation, by Freddie King, which had been given to his brother, Martín, a guitarist and singer: “It was the first time I had heard a blues piano. I had never heard anything like it, with such force.” Two years later he was already playing the piano in the bars of Buenos Aires, beginning a professional career that in 2022 brought him to Barcelona. Five years ago he began to sing and to develop his career as a soloist and at the head of his own band, always seduced by the force and the subtlety of African-American roots music and its capacity for communication: “It has given me the possibility of expressing myself and of learning as I grow.” A pianist with a broad register, this allows him to collaborate with numerous artists on the Barcelona scene, in which he has made his way in a short time and always with devotion: “One wonderful thing about the blues is that you can do a lot with very little… and I also transfer that to everyday life.”
