A Contra Blues · The Ramblers · Rambalaya · A Ciegas · El Kujo

He began by travelling the path of heavy metal in his adolescence, with a group of friends with whom he created his first band under the gloomy name of Ereboh. In 2003 he landed in Barcelona intending to spend a sabbatical year there, but he became entangled in music and is still there. A year later he met Héctor Martín, who introduced him to the blues and with whom he created A Contra Blues, his main band ever since. They started out by winning the SBB competition and consolidated their position in 2014 with first place at the European Blues Challenge. His mighty voice, his stage presence and the feeling he steeps his performances in have turned him into a rising figure on the blues scene, a genre that has never much bothered about labels. Musical curiosity has led him to explore the most varied sonic territories, both as a performer and as a composer, but the blues captivates him for its authenticity: “The rawness and viscerality in their most primal form. Also the deceptive simplicity. As Hendrix said: ‘Easy to play, difficult to feel’.”
