The blues crossed his path in the shape of his brother Cesc Miró, the trumpeter of The Big Jamboree, who invited him to join the band after he had bought his first baritone sax. As he himself explains, it was not a decision, it was an opportunity. In the first two decades of this century he has accompanied the most outstanding artists of the Barcelona scene with his baritone, such as Wax & Boogie, Emma Fernández or Chino Swingslide & The Big Bet. In love with the classic rhythm & blues of the forties and fifties: “The blackest stuff, with a good horn section, the rhythm section, a piano and a slightly broken guitar, drives me crazy.” With his references firmly anchored in the classics such as Louis Jordan, Leo Parker or Big Jay McNeely, he states that the best gift music has given him has been enjoying the friendship of the professionals he has met along the way, also collaborating with them as an arranger: “I am a people person. I like projects not so much for the songs as for what my companions are like and how they dazzle me with their art.”
