In his case, the reverse path was the one from ska and punk to roots music, ending up becoming the main reference of one of the most genuine and traditional, and at the same time rarest, expressions of the blues: the one man band. He began his solo path in 2006, performing as a singer-songwriter of songs that drew on many different styles. After various personal projects and projects with a band, in 2015 he resumed his solo career, submerged in the blues, folk and other North American roots styles, to which he added an interest in building homemade instruments, consolidating his project. With a musical forcefulness, an imposing stage presence and a repertoire, in Catalan and English, with social content and citric irony, he is one of the most singular figures on our blues scene, a music that reached him with the sincerity of the great Delta myths such as Son House or Robert Johnson, and about which what seduces him most is, above all, “this natural and raw sound, unfiltered and direct”.
