He arrived at the genre at the beginning of the twenty-first century, after an initiatory journey to Memphis, where he decided to pull at the thread that links the music of Elvis with traditional blues, which caught him for its simplicity of infinite possibilities, its capacity to display feelings and a rhythm that suggests a seductive and attractive movement. But his musical journey is as broad as it is eclectic, albeit always within the universe of North American roots music. He has taken part in folk and indie and rock projects and he has paid homage to Hank Williams and Bob Dylan. An elegant musician and a discreet man with little fondness for displays that are not musical, in recent years he has become a reference point for the folk blues of the city, where he feels comfortable surrounded by good friends and accomplices. His songs have an evocative sound and his lyrics a penetrating and disenchanted vision, faithful to a particular conception of the blues: “It is a music charged with emotions that plays a game between what is sacred and what is profane and unconfessable.”
