Another victim of the gentrifying epidemic was this temple of rock’n’roll, which every Sunday from April 2009 onwards hosted the jams organised by the band Tota Blues, which for eight years served as a meeting point for the greater part of the blues congregation. On its little stage, professionals and amateurs took turns and SBB competitions, parties and various revelries were held with the blues as the soul of the night. On top of that, the regular concert programme included international bands and artists. On 4 October 2020 it closed its doors for ever and shortly afterwards the pickaxe of greed demolished its walls, though not its spirit, which goes on spreading rock’n’roll through the different venues of the city.
